MANHATTAN VICE
F/W 2019
​a concept revolving around the love/hate relationship with Miami in the 80s, taken to a new maturity with a Manhattan vibe.
​looking at the art deco seen in Miami, Memphis style furniture, & glam Vogue photoshoots from the 80s, I developed this collection inspired by the movement of lines, colors, and feelings of this era. I wanted to show the loudness of this time with the colors I chose & an extreme play on texture, using vinyl, satins, velvets, knits, organza, & mohair. each piece has the rhythm and curve of the architecture in Miami, with an added sophistication of New York style.
